Our 1999 production of GETTYSBURG gets its first CD release on May 1,2007! I'll write more about this program, and everything that went into making it, as we get closer to the release date. I think it remains the single most difficult program I've done to date - keeping a battle going, pretty much continuous, for three and a half hours. We had a great cast to pull it off, and as usual, another great score from Jeff.

GETTYSBURG has to date, only been available on audio cassette, so this is going to be great because now it can be heard in all its digital glory - and Blackstone does another fantastic cover!

About time! I just listend to the production again all these years later. It was so much fun doing that production. I even enjoyed what little I could contribute to the research (namely the flow of message traffic from LRT to Capt. Smith via semaphore and runners.)

I hope this production get some new life with the CD release. It is remarkable how well it still holds up. It was not only your most challenging production but also fantastic writing.

In the past few years I've gone on to make 4 documentaries and recently have done 2 voice overs for media work related to my job in Army Intelligence.

Thanks for the great opportunity you gave me voice acting on this production. It remains a very fond memory.

Hi Peter,
How great to hear from you, and congrats on the documentaries! I remember you being a big help during the GETTYSBURG production. Hard to believe that was 8 years ago! Some folks thought we were crazy, doing a three hour program in sound that was mostly battle scenes, but I think we pulled it off :) Again, thanks for writing! Nice to hear you are doing what you love. Cheers ~J
